What to do if the player keeps playing the same track
Unfortunately this site experiences problems when you use Internet Explorer version 6 & 7 (and Opera) to listen to the tracks.
If you keep hearing the first recording that you listened to even when selecting a new one then it means that the browser is using a cached version of the player rather than downloading an updated one for each new track.
The simple answer is to view the site in Firefox and this problem should not occur.
Alternatively, if you only have Internet Explorer available then you may delete the browser's cache before attempting to listen to a new recording. Follow these steps:
- Go to the Tools menu and select "Delete Browsing History"
- Click on the "Delete Files" button.
- Click "yes"
- Close the dialogue box
- Press the F5 key to reload the page and you should then be able to listen to the next recording.
For the same reasons Opera (the browser, not the type of music) is not recommended either, at least until the problem has been solved. That should happen very soon during the next update of the web site.
